AKOFA Creative - The Infinite Seat
The stool has always had its place in West African culture. Kings and queens alike have reigned for centuries from this African equivalent to the European throne. While our company's interpretation is not as weighty as other royal stools that exist throughout West Africa, it does symbolize our infinite commitment to providing the best quality services without compromising, "cutting corners" or holding back.

AKOFAType - Wisdom Over Strength
Symbolism plays a bigger role in the AKOFAType identity which is a graphical interpretation of a West African proverb about the ability for wisdom and quick thinking (The antelope) to overcome and supersede the size and strength of larger organizations (The elephant) in reaching any goal in life.

A+Plus - The Quiet Riot
Our work can be reserved but occasionally we like to cut loose and the best outlet for those ideas are found on our blog, A+Plus.

Unfortunately, we couldn't completely get crazy when it came to the identity since it still had to look as though it was part of the "family". So, we opted for a more minimal interpretation of an A & Plus and let its quiet nature speak for itself amongst the wildness of our blog.

Tsito Yevu Press - A Welcome Stranger
To be honest the entire process of creating an identity for Tsito Yevu Press, the printed goods and ephemera division of AKOFA Creative, began with a search through old family photos.

The photograph that inspired it all was of the late Dr. Kofi Amuti (our creative director's father) in traditional Ghanaian wardrobe. This image inspired the "Samwell" identity while the "TYP" seal has it's roots in experimental lettering from our type division, AKOFAType.

Amuti.net - The Big Tree
Our creative director's surname, Amuti, originates from the Volta Region of Ghana, West Africa and loosely translates to "large tree". It was only natural that when putting together a site named Amuti.net, that the large tree (in negative space) would play a central role in the identity.
