Boundless Sky Ranch
Identity for an Alaskan vacation resort.
The challenge we put to ourselves this time around was to create an identity for a ranch that is located in Alaska.
Yes, that Alaska! The home of wolves, bears and harsher weather in one day than the lower 48 could kick out in five decades.
That is, however, if you fully believe what most Discovery Network "hardcore-doomsday-prepping-camera-in-the-woods-outdoor-living" shows tell you. In reality, the state of Alaska is a natural paradise with unending scenic landscapes and a bounty of culture and wildlife.
So with that in mind, we drew from northern Native American symbolism and incorporated a frontier era woodcut slab serif typeface to represent our concept ranch/resort where your cares about the hustle and bustle of city life fade away like the clouds of a boundless blue sky.
