Event report book for the 2013 Centennial Olympic Park "Party in the Park" concert series.
Modern, bright, energetic and fun were all things that were conveyed in the initial discussions for the GWCCA Recap Book. But what most inspired this booklet was the event flyer and associated marketing materials. From the abstract art-deco like section lead pages to the vibrant geometric splashes of color, this booklet displayed the data rich and schedule intensive details of the Party In The Park series in a fresh and up to date manner.
What Is Flat, Abstract and Informative?
We had put together books and reports for many folks before but this project was our first legitimate challenge because of the criteria we had to meet. The brief called for this report to be informative, fun and incorporate the elements of the concert poster which was designed in the popular "flat abstract geometry" style.
After a few tests and client feedback, we were on the right track and the rest of the book fell into place.

Social media images were displayed as mocked up mobile devices to give the reader a sense of how the audience viewed the event and its associated web based promotions.
