EBS
Identity for an E-business in collaboration with DCANet.
Though solid and subtle in its design, this logo also tells an inspirational yet cautionary tale.
During our collaboration with the Delaware Valley based DCANet, we were given access to a myriad of clients that could use our graphic design services with the web hosting services that DCANet provided. One of those clients was Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS). During the design process, we had kept in contact with both EBS and DCANet to create the best identity for them but all at once everything had stopped and the project was "dead in the water".
This complete cut-off in communication was extremely odd but, in short, EBS had fallen on hard times during the dotcom bubble and their digital hardware assets were sold during a sheriff's sale on the loading dock of DCANet's server farm.
The lesson that we took from this experience was to continue creating great work and providing fantastic service regardless of the client's unfortunate circumstances.
